Josephine Blake | Biography
Josephine has a degree in Fine Art, specialising in Painting and Sculpture. She is an Illustrator, focusing on realistic and figurative work and also a Portrait Artist working in pastels, watercolour and oils.
Josephine is an accomplished portrait artist with many years of experience. Studying at Leeds Metropolitan University, she gained her degree in Fine Art, specialising in painting and sculpture.
Throughout her career, her skills as a portrait artist have led her talents to be very much in demand. Portraits commissioned by a wealth of clients including Lord Aylestone, musicians Gary Moore, Malcolm Young and Chris Rea are testament to Josephine’s professional reputation.
As an illustrator, represented by the agency Beehive Illustration, Josephine’s work has been published by among others Macmillan, Oxford University Press and Scholastic. Her unique non-CAD style and developed approach has produced a myriad of completed work.
